Former Lieutenant J. Paul Vance, a Senior Learning Consultant with Learning Dynamics, has a proven track record for preparing, delivering, and enforcing safety programs. With over 43 years in law enforcement, Paul is highly skilled in communicating with people from the boardroom to the classroom and is able to assess and evaluate situations delivering the appropriate responses.

As Lieutenant, Commanding Officer of Public Information & Media Relations, he prepared and delivered or coordinated all media briefings to the public concerning major State Police events in the state of Connecticut. Paul also contributes to his local community as the varsity boy’s basketball coach, over 20 years, for St. Peter and Paul’s Grammar School.

Paul was the media spokesperson for the Sandy Hook tragedy in 2012 and received the Sandy Hook Investigation Award for his role in the event. On the subjects of emergency preparation and safety, Paul is a trusted guide and expert.
